My name is Damon Allen Davison and I am a photographer based in leafy North London. Although I’m originally from Southern California, I’ve been living in the UK and Europe for nearly twenty years.
My intention with this site is to create a showcase for my latest and favourite images from shoots, as well as share some of writing I’ve done over the years.
My photographic interests are pretty varied, but I have a strong affinity for portraiture of all kinds. I’ve been working in the music industry for years, so you will see a lot of publicity stills for recording artists and even more live images among the photos here. I am also interested in alternative cultures, niche groups, trends, fads and freaks.

I love shooting concerts–it’s a wonderful challenge to pull a great image out of a hat when the last thing on anyone else’s mind is making sure the photographer gets a good shot.
In my work, I like to build a rapport with my subjects whenever possible because I feel it leads to a more relaxed atmosphere and better photos. It’s also good to make new friends.
